Changing the way we drink water.
www.water.club

In a nutshell

Water Club is here to change the way we drink water. They believe that healthy water shouldn’t cost the earth, and sustainable choices should be simple.

They’re doing this by creating a network of sustainable refill stations dispensing purified alkaline water that is rich in minerals. Packaging free. Transport CO2 free. Great for the planet and great for you.

The founder

Sarah Larby originally grew up wanting to be a marine biologist with a love for the outdoors and the environment. But like most of us and our childhood aspirations, took all the ‘wrong’ subjects at school.

In 2018 she found herself working for a coffee challenger brand producing single-use capsules that lasted about 20 seconds. Seeing all the waste and lack of recycling, Sarah wanted to find a product that she frequently used, and change it.

Hence Water Club was born. Inspired by ATMs, Water Club uses the existing water infrastructure to give the public access to high quality water, without having to pop into WH Smith for a plastic bottle.

The work

Refill
Download their app to refill at their water stations. Remember to BYOB.

Revive
Optimise your hydration with personalised alkaline mineral water, which is free of impurities and revives your body and rebalances it’s pH.

Remove
Every time you refill with Water Club, they remove one bottle from the entering our waterways or landfill, saving 350g CO2.

Why we love them

As fellow plastic bottle despisers, Water Club is a cause close to our hearts.

One — we can’t count the times we’ve been out and about in public places, like train stations, with nowhere to fill up our reusable bottles. Our options? Remain parched or give in and buy a plastic bottle.

Two — when you are lucky enough to find a pub kind enough to refill your bottle behind the bar, you’re returned a bottle full of tepid, tap water that could probably do with a run through a BRITA.

So the application is instantly clear. Accessible refill stations using the existing water infrastructure, whilst removing 99.9% of the nasty impurities and adding back in healthy powerful minerals. It’s a no brainer.
