Why did you decide to become involved with the initiative?

I’ve always wanted to use my skills for good. B2B Marketing isn’t necessarily saving lives, but realising I can apply those skills to brands who are really doing good and saving our planet — that sold it to me.

We might not have the sexy uniforms (I’m thinking the fire service, doctors, you get my drift), but there are some amazing brands out there making our world a better place who need our help. So if we can get their brand and work out there, I’m totally behind it. Uniform TBC…

What does this initiative mean to you?

For me, Bottle Half Full is about giving do-good brands their own personal marketing crack team that can really accelerate their growth. A lot of social-good startups don’t have a marketing expert high up on their hiring list, so being able to step in for a few months and set them up for success is invaluable.

What outcomes do you hope to see from starting this initiative?

I want to see the brands we work with smash their goals. I want to work with people who are really passionate about changing the world for good — that inspires the s*** out of me. But I also want to see the Bottle Half Full community grow so we can help more and brands in the industry. Recruiting best-in-class talent to lend their free time and skills means we can help more and more not-for-profit brands in need.

What skills are you lending to the initiative?

Marketing strategy is my thing. So I can be useful in having a look at your current marketing lay of the land (if it exists), understanding your business goals, and creating a water-tight marketing strategy that gets you where you want to be.

If you were a hybrid of two animals, what would you be?

Conquering land, air and sea — Eagle and Dolphin.

If you had to identify as a plant — what would you be?

The plant in the corner of my living room — requires loads of attention or it will die.

What’s the most useless talent you have?

I can tell which song a shitty DJ is mixing into before anyone else in the room.

Do you think cats have any regrets?

That they weren’t born dogs.
