Why did you decide to become involved with the initiative?

Working in B2B, you don’t often get the opportunity to use your skills to benefit the wider world. So this was a no-brainer!

Once I started looking into some of the businesses and how people are solving real-world problems in these fantastic and creative ways, it went from ‘this would be cool’ to ‘this is absolutely worth doing’.

What does this initiative mean to you?

It’s extremely rewarding to work with passionate people on projects that positively affect the world!

What outcomes do you hope to see from starting this initiative?

Of course, helping as many people as possible refine their message and get it out to the world.

But also I hope it serves as a call-to-arms to anyone working in B2B: get involved! You can put your skills to something truly worthwhile.

Is there a sector/cause that you’re most eager to work with?

Homelessness and climate change are two problems I’d love to be able to contribute towards solving.

What skills are you lending to the initiative?

My background is in copywriting and my current role is in product marketing — so anything from persona development and positioning, to campaigns and content creation. If it’s got words, I can usually lend a hand.

I also make a mean scrambled eggs.

If you were a hybrid of two animals, what would you be?

For the aesthetic, duck-billed platypus and naked mole rat.

Have you mastered any weird lockdown skills?

I’m pretty good at pretending things are ok.

If you had to identify as a plant — what would you be?

Cheese plant — frail and difficult to look after.

Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Andy Serkis
